I’ve been a registered psychotherapist for 11 years.
I see clients in Burlington, as well as virtually across Ontario.
I love working with women who want to work on their relationship with themselves.
I am fuelled by quality time with my family and friends, good stories, music (both old and new), great food and time spent in nature.
I offer free, 30 minute consultations to prospective clients rather than the industry standard 15. I want to make sure you get to ask all of your questions and get a better opportunity to see if I will be a good ‘fit’ for you!
Hi! I’m Kaitlyn.
How I Practice
I work primarily with women who are struggling with the impact that anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt & criticism, burnout and mental load are having on their lives.
My clients want to feel more grounded in who they are and be more intentional about where they invest their time and energy.
My therapy practice is grounded in two beliefs: the importance of our relationships in healing and taking the time to understand the context in which behaviours and patterns of thinking occur.
I have a warm, open style as a therapist and lean on humour (when appropriate of course).
I work from a systems theory lens. I put great emphasis on the impact that our relationships, environments and experiences have on the challenges my clients face. I use narrative and emotion focused therapies. I also implement interventions from cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution focused therapy and parts work.
