  • I’ve been a registered psychotherapist for 11 years.

  • I see clients in Burlington, as well as virtually across Ontario.

  • I love working with women who want to work on their relationship with themselves.

  • I am fuelled by quality time with my family and friends, good stories, music (both old and new), great food and time spent in nature.

  • I offer free, 30 minute consultations to prospective clients rather than the industry standard 15. I want to make sure you get to ask all of your questions and get a better opportunity to see if I will be a good ‘fit’ for you!

Hi! I’m Kaitlyn.

How I Practice

I work primarily with women who are struggling with the impact that anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt & criticism, burnout and mental load are having on their lives.

I integrate emotionally focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, EMDR and narrative therapy approaches to support meaningful and lasting change.

My approach is warm and collaborative. I’m not afraid to use humour (when appropriate, of course).

Ideally, therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, feel understood and begin to relate to yourself in a more compassionate and confident way.

I believe that it’s important to understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape how you feel about yourself and your relationships. I also believe that “insight is the booby prize of therapy”. Simply put: you can have all the understanding and insight in the world - but what are you going to do with it? To me, success in therapy comes from addressing both insight and action.

Education and Credentials

A modern living room with a light gray sofa decorated with beige and gray pillows, a patterned throw blanket, and two wooden coffee tables. There are potted plants near the window, which has gray curtains. Two framed black-and-white architectural photos hang on the white wall, and there is a tall floor lamp beside the window. A knitted pouf rests on a textured rug on the floor.
